		<description>I also have Firefox and XP.  I do not know a good optimizer for a pc but I do know that regular updates and bug scans help a lot.  I use Norton which is good for stopping Trojans in their tracks, but not for much else.  I also use a free program called Malwarebytes Anti-malware.  I will find and delete malware for free and works very well.  i also used Xoftspy SE for quite some time, but it seems to no longer work.  Also you should try AdAware.  Price does not always determine how well it will work.  Do research on freeware programs but be wary because some actually PUT viruses on your PC to get money from you.  My friend also recommends a security Task Manager.  It will tell the threat levels of processes running on your computer and why.  Hope that helps
