Anti Spyware
Initially spyware was used as a kind of marketing tool to conduct surveys and research and send them over to the advertising companies so that products could be targeted to the user groups. But in the present context, spyware has become malicious. So, it becomes important to use an anti spyware for the protection of the computer.
Advertising companies claim that they do not collect “sensitive” data from spywares. But how “sensitive” is defined in the postmodern context is a debatable issue. An anti spyware is very necessary for a computer because there is no way to ascertain how much information can be collected once a spyware is installed in to your computer. Therefore, it is always safe to use an anti spyware in your system.
Nail.exe (aka Aurora) is a common spyware program. Other spyware programs are Winfixer 2005 which has been updated as Winfixer 2006, Gator, and CoolWebSearch.
The best way to guard against spyware is not to get infected in the first place. Once a spyware attacks, it can make use of your social security number, bank account numbers as well as the credit card numbers for harmful purposes. This is the reason why it is important to install an anti spyware in to your system. There are two ways to install an anti spyware mechanism in to your computer. It can be either a real time spyware protection or a scanner and remover.

The real time spyware protection puts off the spyware from being installed in the computer in the first place. It also acts like an antivirus. All the incoming files are scanned by the software. All files and data before being executed or downloaded are checked by this system. All spyware movements are completely blocked.
The second way to deal with this problem is to install a scanner and remover. As their names suggest, the scanner scans the files of the computer and the remover destroys any file that may contain spyware contents. These are the two categories of anti spyware available in the market. But as stated it is better not to get affected in the first place.
