Spyware Nuker will get you computer somewhat back up and running to speed. By somewhat, I mean it will locate and eliminate around half of the types of harmful content that it needs to. This also means it will only block around half of the harmful content in real time as well. The database seems to be updated fairly often, which is great since new forms of spyware and adware are always coming out. The features are simple to use and understand. The scheduled scanning and automatic updates are simply to turn off, on, or just configure to fit your needs better. The support was also very great when I contacted them.
Although Spyware Nuker does have some great things to offer, it leaves a lot behind. It does not search for trojans, keyloggers, popups, or hijackers. This also means it does not block them in the real time protection. This leaves a window for a huge amount of content to be able to attack your system. The type of content it allows is also very unnerving since it is some of the most dangerous types of malware. When purchasing an anti-spyware program, you may just think spyware is all you need to be protected from. This is incorrect thinking; there are so many more harmful items out there that really damage your computer. Most anti-spyware programs offer protection from almost all of these forms, but for some reason Spyware Nuker sticks to blocking only spyware and adware.
